Vaisala implements Predisys™ Quality Control and Engineering Analysis Solution

announced today that Vaisala Group, a market leading Finnish company
specializing in products and services for environmental and industrial
measurement on a global basis, has implemented the Quality Control and
Engineering Analysis Solution. Rigged to the existing manufacturing
databases, the Predisys solution is a pivotal tool in gathering and
analysing production information that can in turn be used in continuous
product development and supply chain process quality improvement.
Focusing on streamlining the crucial interaction between R&D and
production, the Predisys solution enables refining massive production
data quantities into high level statistical knowledge and the seamless
use of production information in real time throughout the whole
organization. This will enable defect-preventive actions in the
manufacturing process and fact-based product design related decisions
for better manufacturability and product quality.
By implementing the Predisys solution massive overhaul of an
existing Manufacturing Information System (MIS) was avoided, as the

enhancing their data analysis capabilities. This way, the effective
utilization time of past manufacturing system’s investment was also
extended.
