Nokian Tyres PLC implements Predisys at its new tyre manufacturing plant in St. Petersburg, Russia

Espoo, March 21st 2005 -- Predisys, Inc., the Scandinavian leader in production data management and continuous improvement solutions for high-tech manufacturing enterprises, today announced that Nokian Tyres PLC has decided to implement Predisys Manufacturing Intelligence and Statistical Quality Control Solution at its new tyre manufacturing operation in St. Petersburg, Russia. This implementation is a natural follow up for the previous - very successful system implementation at Nokian Tyres plant in Nokia, Finland.

The major objective of this implementation is to speed up the learning curve in new production line during the factory ramp-up and provide seamless visibility and real time analysis capabilities for the production line management and engineering groups. After this the system will offer support for continuous quality improvement efforts with online statistical process control tools as well as data collection and data mining capabilities.

The system will be built as a fully web centric solution using latest web technologies including Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Microsoft™ .NET and Sharepoint Portal platform.
